Urban Hygiene is launching the latest in its 'easy' brand range of protective coatings
Doncaster based Urban Hygiene is launching the latest in its 'easy' brand range of protective coatings.
The company, which specialises in producing hi-tech protective coatings and cleaning solutions, is now launching its revolutionary new 'easy-guard' fire protection coating and Class"O" system.
'easy-guard' fire retardant coating is safe and easy to use and has been manufactured to comply with the forthcoming new fire standard regulations.
In the 'worse case' Warrington blue board test, it achieved a class "O" rating in just 3 top coats.
'easy-guard' can be applied over any existing paintwork and is available in a wide range of colours and with its durable top coat, even graffiti removal can be carried out on a daily basis without compromising the fire protection coating finish, which can often be a problem with other systems.
Mark Johnson, Sales Director at Urban Hygiene, which trades from premises at the new Skynet Business Park at Robin Hood Airport, commented: "By adding easy-guard to our product range we believe we are offering specifiers a one stop shop for the problems they face in public areas".

He continued: "With the new fire safety legislation due to come into force in November and employers and property owners expected to be made solely responsible for maintaining fire safety and preventing fire spread within their premises, we felt the time was right to launch our fire protection system".
"easy-guard has undergone a stringent testing programme and has been manufactured to comply with the new fire safety legislation, and as a result, we have developed a product, which will ensure that our customers can not only meet with this new legislation, but if used in conjunction with 'easy-on' protective coating, it can protect their building for up to 20 years".
Urban Hygiene already has a number of other products in its already well-established 'easy' brand range.
The range consists of 'easy-on', a protective, clear, one coat solution for all hygiene, durability and graffiti problems.
'easy-on' has been successfully used by Local Authorities, Schools, Utilities and Hospitals to protect surfaces for 20 times longer than ordinary paint and has recently been used exclusively as part of an urban regeneration programme carried out by the Estates Services and Strategies Group in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
'easy-off' is a safe cleaning solution, which removes graffiti and stains with instant effect.
It is safe, has a pleasant aroma and is suitable for use both external and internal cleaning on a wide range of surfaces without risk to health or the environment.
